Sel and I ventured around the gorgeous countryside of Myanmar for a month in 2013. These people account for barely a speck of the 50+ million Burmese inhabitants, but they certainly left a positive impression on us.
Thank you, Myanmar.

Is there a trick to getting such warm people pictures? I seem to fail dismally! I would certainly like some guidance … Technically, otherwise, any which way. Maybe you could do a post on it for the likes of me?

I think all the credit goes to the Burmese.. Seriously though, I think it helps that they were such warm, friendly, and a little shy… it all came through in the photos. Absolutely natural. I don’t have any technical advice, but as soon as I know someone isn’t that keen on a photo, I don’t take one because that will come through just as much.

Lovely pics there, a great reminder of a place we visited just the year before. And intend to go back to!
