In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Depth.”
This was taken on the way to work one morning with my iPhone, so apologies for the quality. Driving into thick fog, I was already taking some photos with my phone and then suddenly a jogger emerged. It was very eerie…
Have you seen my other submissions for the weekly photo challenge?
– The size of the thing!
– Serenity
– The red mist
– My own shadow
Lovely picture. The fog, the leading line, the subject, Great composition 🙂

I do love jogging in the fog, it’s a strange experience, but I must say I probably wouldn’t do it where there’s traffic :-S Great shot though, I like how the atmosphere has made it almost black and white.

Cheers Laura 🙂 It was a really isolated road out near farms so she wasn’t around traffic although it was still eerie being out in the middle of nowhere!

Spooky! It’s a nice calibration of elements . With an iPhone, not too bad at all!

Dont apologize for the quality! Sometimes camera phones make the best pictures for spur of the moment things like this. The grainy effect enhances the overall look of the fog and the jogger. I love it!

Thank you! Now that you’ve said that, I’m appreciating the graininess a lot more 🙂

I completely agree! The graininess actually enhances the photo. It’s a great shot and excellent interpretation of the theme.

This is quite strange…I wrote a post (a poem) in November on my blog with the exact same title 🙂

While you say “apologies for the quality”, I think the graininess of the image just adds to the effect and atmosphere that is conveyed. Great capture!
