In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Scale.”
I’ve got two photos today because I couldn’t decide which one to use…. the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur (just as incredible and as “big” in person) dwarfing over everyone out the front, or the unusual pattern of the clouds in the sky at the beach, giving the impression that the sky and just the earth in general is so much bigger than the surfer.
Have you seen my other submissions for the weekly photo challenge?
Love the beach shot!

Which one? Malaysia, or the beach in my wonderful hometown? 😀

Haha I realized after I sent it that I didn’t specify. I meant Malaysia but I love the beach as well! Will be teaching English in Korea starting next month so hoping to travel around SE Asia next year.

Excellent interpretation and execution! I really like the first one, although I’d prefer to be in the second one.

In regard to your photos, one is as good as another with both conveying very different impressions of scale.

Cheers Lulu – I felt like they were both very different ideas with the same theme, which is why I couldn’t choose between the two. I’m glad I posted both now 🙂
