Vanuatu – 2011. My first venture overseas and even now I’m still convinced the Ni-Vanuatu are the happiest people on Earth.It was the first time I’d taken my new camera on a serious holiday, and my confidence level of taking random photos was down near the floor. One day we’ll go back… and I’ll be snapping away even more to try and really capture the charm and nature of these people that makes me believe they are the happiest people on the planet.

Thank you! It was a beautiful place… and you’re right. Happiness is a perspective, and despite the poorer conditions & poverty compared to my own country, happiness seemed to be in abundance everywhere – but of course that was only my perspective 😉
