In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Early Bird.”
I took this a few years ago when I was experimenting with sunrises. I wasn’t having much luck capturing a gorgeous sunrise so I changed the focus of the experiment and walked in front of the camera while the shutter was open. The photo still caught a glimpse of the first light but I love the combination of the ghostly effect and the dark clouds. I was the first person on the beach that morning, although seeing the ghost effect later made me think otherwise…….. 😉

Nice picture, it is like night giving way to day. As an aside I notice that the comments o put on your 66 beans posts haven’t come through, in fact they didn’t appear yesterday (not even stating moderation needed) but I thought they were still there in the background (those comment were just before I followed you yesterday and reblogged a post of yours). Weird, I wonder what happened
