So this is the year my writing finally comes to the foreground. A quick glance over my blog for 2017 will take you 2 seconds (don’t do it, it’s not worth the time) to see I put up zip, zero, nada, a goose egg! Alright, so I did publish a few posts, but they were certainly nothing substantial, but just enough words on the screen to let you wonderful people know I hadn’t disappeared.
Not to be confused for a new year’s resolution post as I really despise those, or maybe I don’t, but ultimately this year will be different. Not because I’m focusing so much on this blog itself, but because I’m focusing on my writing in general. I’ve enrolled in an online Mystery Writing course which will kick off next week and I can’t wait! How will it go? Who knows, it’s a mystery! (get it?) Seriously though, my wish is for the 10-week course to provide me with just the right mix of motivation and knowledge. I have a 3-4 year old novel (I forget now) sitting there and I’m desperate to get it finished. Even the characters are starting to get bored.
So with that, I’ll be using my blog this year for a little more experimentation with writing, but I’ll still throw in the music, photography and daily observations as always.
