I like to share insights and daily observations about life. I do it to improve the quality of my own life by viewing this crazy world in a positive way. I figure it’s also a mentally healthy way to vent… I think! So I created an umbrella for all this stuff which I’ve loosely termed as:

doing simple things that enhance your life, and likely enhance the lives of those around you
It’s not original, unique, or ground-breaking, but I’m not trying to re-invent the wheel. This idea is really simple and can be followed every day without breaking a sweat. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a farmer, high-powered executive, student, stay-at-home mum, traveller, or celebrity…
It doesn’t involve moving to the countryside to be at one with nature. It doesn’t involve extreme meditation, or “finding ones self” in a remote Himalayan temple. It doesn’t involve quitting your stable job and pretending money is the root of all evil. It doesn’t involve guzzling kale smoothies topped with organic bee pollen. Not that there’s anything wrong with those things, but this isn’t that, and I’m not that person.
This is about minor attitude adjustments and perception changes. Seeing things, and reacting to things a little differently than the mind and body usually tries to. The purpose is to remind myself to appreciate my life and all those small, but wonderful things that are right under my nose. Also, to have fun, and be positive and happy while kicking down the negativity a few notches in the process.
